I can’t find a search feature for this forum, so forgive me if this has come up before.
I really, really miss the continuously variable playback speed feature that we enjoyed in Audacity 3. There is no equivalent in Audacity 4, and none of the ‘Pitch and tempo’ effects work in the same way.
I use Audacity for listening to noises from machinery, and the ability to slow down the playback speed to identify individual events is invaluable. The pitch and tempo effects introduce too many artifacts.
