Feature request - automatic edited filename suffix

Hi - I do a lot of recorded audio file editing. I like to avoid overwriting the original file in case there’s an issue. I typically name the edited file _ED..

It would save me a lot of time if I could have Audacity automatically apply a configurable suffix (like “_ED” above) to the original filename when it’s being directed to export the edited file.

I second this motion.

It would also be nice if a sequence number could be added as well, so in this example the first export would be named File_ED01 then the next named File_ED02 etcetera.
