'Failed to disconnect from DDE server' popup

Audacity 2.3.2
Windows 10 x64

I only use Audacity to convert WAV to MP3. Recently I started getting a popup every time I close down the program:

‘Failed to disconnect from DDE server gracefully: a parameter failed to be validated by the DDEMI’

This only appears after using the program to convert; if I open audacity and close it down without actually doing anything it does not appear.
I am just wondering if this is affecting the program, my audio files or my computer?

I sometimes get debug messages after closing the program too, although I ignore these and haven’t noted down any specifics.

Did you obtain Audacity via the Audacity website (https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/) or somewhere else?
Audacity doesn’t use a DDE server, so either you have a modified version of Audacity, or something else is interfering with Audacity.
Is your anti-virus up to date? When did you last do a full scan?
