I have just started using Audacity. I am trying to split a large mp3 file automatically using Open File and Label Sounds in Analyze functions. Everything is working fine except I have to enter the track names manually. Is there a way the track names of the individual split mp3 files can be extracted automatically? Can someone help me please? Thank you so much in advance.

Good question … but:
- where would Audacity take the track names from?
- how would Audacity know where exactly one track ends and the next track starts?
What I do when splitting a recording (when digitizing old vinyls or tapes):
- make a list of the tracks in a text file
- copy the text (track name) from the text file
- find the start of the new track and click there
- use the keyboard shortcut “Command - Option - V” (on macOS; in Windows it should probably be Ctrl - Alt - V). This creates a label with the selected text.
- find the beginning of the next track, and continue as before
After every label is there, do an “Export Audio → Multiple files → Split files based on labels”
No idea whether this would answer - at least partially - your question…

Maybe ask AI to listen to the audio and summarize it into subjects? And ask for timestamps too.
