Audio editing should allow for a hardware controller to be used, no? So, where do I set one up in Audacity?
It blows my mind that there is no information anywhere on how to setup an external controller for the transport controls. (Or is there, but it’s just buried so deep that no one can locate it?)
Only if your controller can simulate keyboard shortcuts.
Audacity doesn’t support control surfaces, which I think use MIDI commands. Audacity has very-limited MIDI support.
