How to do so that export is set to “mono” by default? If I set the dot “mono”, audacity returns “stereo” after, I have to choose each time.
Just doing a quick experiment, it looks like it defaults to mono if you have a mono file/project.
That’s probably the best way to handle it for most users unless they want to allow you to customize your export preferences.
If I have a mono project, audacity still suggests to export “stereo” by default. If I have a mono file, audacity suggests to export “mono”.
