What does this Problem mean and how does it get fixed? I have been getting for some days now and Audacity is not functioning properly. Every time I try to use the software, noting works properly and when I quit the program, this pops up.
Windows user here. Have you tried uninstalling the software and rebooting ?

what I have determined, is that the amount of space to the recovery files was taking up vastly outnumbered the available space. I was able to get the saved file from my External HD with only a few changes missing and then discarded the recovery files. My available storage went from less that 1 GB to 14 GB instantly. I Saved the files to my external HD to save space until I am soon finished. Audacity 3.4 may not be the problem after all
Thanks for the update. Sometimes you can gain space in a well-edited project, by following these four steps:
- Cmd+A (Select All)
- Cmd+C (Copy)
- Cmd+N (New Project)
- Cmd+V (Paste) (Don’t paste Smart Clips)
