The Helix is a good audio device with 8 canals 24 bits. I use it since two years with my Mac and it worked perfectly with Audacity before the bug (as it still does for the others software…).
A I said in a post before, I also tried with another audiodevice (Uphoria UMC204HD) to understand my problem and it was exactly the same. There is no difference if i choose internal speaker of the Mac Mini.

OK, well as a WIndows guy, I can’t think of anything else to try…

(I am sure you have tried rebooting and doing a Transport > Rescan Audio Devices).
