Error: not well-formed

Hi All,

Was doing a recording session last night using audacity when we unfortunately had a blackout. Thankfully audacity managed to auto save the file however every time I try to open it I encounter this error message ‘Error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 10987’ is there anyway at all to get around this or have I lost the file?

(Have attached the auto save if that helps at all)

I have fixed the file for you (attached).

If it happens again to another recording, open the AUTOSAVE file in Notepad or similar, turn word wrap off then delete the last line but one that has empty spaces and a duplicate “>”.

This should leave the last two lines as:

</recordingrecovery>
</project>
