Error 9997 Invalid Sample Rate- Have tried to fix and nothing is working

I just re-downloaded Audacity after some time of not using it. I am using the same equipment as I always have: USB Dual Pre (Project Series) and a MXL990 mic. Im using Audacity 2.3.3 and macOS Mojave 10.14.6

I have made sure that Audacity is set to use the mic and sound through USB Audio CODEC, that the USB Audio CODEC is set to 44.1kHz, that the sample rate in Audacity is set to 44100 Hz, and that Audacity has access to the mic in my settings.

I’ve looked through this forum and on youtube and made sure this was all set correctly. I even restarted my computer, restarted Audacity, plugged and unplugged the preamp from my computer, and it is still giving me this error message. Please help?
