"Equalizing" volume - and reading times

I can only see “total” volume, not volume of each instrument.

Anyway, some parts are too soft, some parts are too aloud.

And I can “fix” this using envelope.

Is there a better, one click way of doing “the same thing”.

You can read exact times from the “Selection Toolbar” Selection Toolbar - Audacity Manual

Probably not. How could a computer know what level you want?
