You could compare the spectrum of your piano recording with that of a reference piano recording, and adjust EQ until they match.

If you tried this? I signed up for a trial and I’ll see what happens. The issue is the piano itself even though it’s tuned a bit of a twang.
If some piano notes are louder, the dynamic control on sonible pure EQ will turn them down …
I have found over the years that no FX or post-prod can equal the value of adjusting the source signal to perfection (or as close as possible to it). As a priority, find any defects or irregularities in the mechanics of the (acoustic, I presume?) instrument – and the ambient acoustics, much of which cannot be perfectly filtered out with “corrective” electronics, such that a flat recording really is as perfect as it can possibly get.
At that point, any further corrective tweaks really are mainly just added aesthetic. (And can be undone, ideally.)
