Hi all,
I’m an 18 year old senior in high school going to school for a BM in Music Composition next year. I recently had my large work for wind ensemble premiered, and part of this piece is that it features a narrator. Due to some difficulties in our auditorium, the microphone for the narrator was not quite turned up enough.
I would like to avoid, if at all possible, re-recording portions of the narration part. That would be a pain for everyone involved. I have had some success using “Ultimate Vocal Remover” to pull the narration alone, and overlay it on my audio. This helps boost the volume at most locations, to an acceptable amount. However, some are not helped much by this, and are still very difficult to understand. How can I accomplish what I am looking to do within Audacity (or within another service, if such a thing exists)?
I am very new to this software but am finding it fairly easy to use, so shouldn’t have too much trouble executing anything.
