Enabled ACX Check on Windows 11 not working!

I’m a newbie to all of this, please help!

Audacity shows ACX check enabled within Tools, Effect and Generate at the top of my screen then choosing Plug-in Manager but option Analyze doesn’t show ACX check. I’ve done the disable/enable followed by closing/restarting Audacity and still nothing…….ugh!

The Nyquist program file is located in the same path as Audacity, so I don’t understand why it’s not working! Can someone help please?!

Just to confirm - It should in Program Files → Audacity → Plug-ins. (With the other .ny plug-ins.)

That’s correct. Am I using an outdated Audacity version?

Isn’t there an extra step? Don’t you have to invoke Plugin Manager? I don’t think it’s just dump the ny file in the folder and go for coffee. I just did this, but I didn’t write down the steps.

I do note that ACX Check appears at the bottom of the list in its own section.

Tell us which version you’re using.

the file name says: audacity-win-3.7.5-64bit

Thank you everyone, problem solved! I did a computer reboot and it worked! thanks for listening!
