Electric Drum Kit and Audacity - HELP!

Hey guys.
My name is Austin, and I am thinking about making some drumming videos for my YouTube channel, since I received an Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit for Christmas. However, I have a few small issues:

A.) I can’t figure out how to hook up my drum kit to my laptop, since I don’t have any USB lead cables like this: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-2-0-Cable-Male/dp/B00BCWALHM/ref=asc_df_B00BCWALHM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167126093426&hvpos=1o4&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8120111825996096262&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9006609&hvtargid=pla-83922868406&psc=1

B.) As of me making this post, I am extremely sick. As in, I’m coughing every 2 seconds, my nose is all stuffy, and I sniffle 17 times a minute. If I plan on making drumming videos, I fear that me being sick will get in the way of my performances. I want a way to prevent that from occurring.

I await a quick response, not super quick, but I would like one ASAP.

Notes: If you want to know what version of Audacity I currently use, I am using version 2.2.2 on Windows 10 x64. And if you want to know more about my YouTube channel, you can look right here: [Advert removed by moderator]
I haven’t made a video about this at the moment, but as soon as I post this, I will get right to working on it. You don’t have to subscribe, you can look at it for as long as you like, but it would be appreciated.
I am extremely new to making drumming videos, so I would also appreciate if you could provide tips to help me become a better drummer on YouTube.
To record in Audacity, I use a Blue Yeti USB microphone.

Well, that’s all I got. Thanks for looking and I’ll see you later.

How do you expect us to help you? Are you expecting someone to donate a USB lead to you?

If you have a question regarding using Audacity software, please describe your question clearly so that others can offer helpful replies.

A.) I can’t figure out how to hook up my drum kit to my laptop, since I don’t have any USB lead cables like this:

The USB connection is for MIDI (not audio). Audacity is not a MIDI application.

With MIDI the actual drum & cymbal sounds are generated by virtual instrument software running on the computer so it will sound different from the audio signal out of the kit, and you can change the drum/cymbal sounds.

If you want to record the analog line-outputs you can connect to line-in on a desktop/tower computer soundcard or you can get a USB interface with line inputs. (The Berhinger UCA202 is popular and inexpensive.) Don’t get a regular “USB soundcard” because they are like laptops with only mic-in and headphone-out.
