Hello. I’m in need of assistance with a daily devotional. Is there a more efficient way to complete it with the only a few things changes daily? For example on track one I have the daily changing scripture, devotion, etc. For track 2 I have the non changing intro to the scripture, devotion, etc. Then on track 3 I have music. Doing day by day seems tedious and I’m wondering is there a better way. Any help is greatly appreciated.
How are you doing it now?
If you have 3 separate audio files you can import (1) them and they’ll end-up as separate tracks which you can drag to the right in the timeline.
As you probably know, they’ll mix when you export (if they overlap).
(1) Don’t “open” them or they’ll end-up in separate projects,
Thanks so much for responding. Currently, I have 3 audio tracks. Track 1 houses daily devotions from 50 - 365. It has 7 parts that change every day and every day is sectioned off. Track 2 has the intro to the 7 parts from track one and they DON’T change. Track 3 is the background music. I want to find the most efficient way to export each day separately without doing daily cutting and pasting.
There are many ways to accomplish this. If you want to do say a weekly batch for each day. You could create a Master Project that has your Intro in track one, Background in track Two, and your daily devotions on say track three. Save this Project as your Master. Intro, Background, and Devotions.
Then you just adjust track three (Variable Length Devotions I’m assuming) to have that devotion only left in track three that you are currently building. Trim accordingly and Export. Do NOT resave the project just close and reopen the master and rinse and repeat and do a bunch at a time. I hope that makes sense. Cheers.
You could try using a batch export feature if your software supports it – that way you can export all the days at once while keeping the intro and music in place. It saves a ton of time compared to doing each day manually, and helps avoid mistakes from copying and pasting every single track.
