Hey there! I’m currently working on a cover of Earthbound’s Snowman and I wanted to know if you have some editing tips to give my electric guitar that wintery-hazardous sound the song demands (I’ll leave a link to the original at the end if you would like to hear it).
I also wanted to add some MIDI Sleigh Bells, which suit the piece nicely, but I can’t figure out how, do you have any idea?
Thanks!

Audacity won’t edit MIDI. I think the latest version will play them, but won’t edit them or convert them to anything else, or convert anything else into MIDI. MIDI is machine control instructions not music or sound.
What you might be able to do is play the bells in the computer’s internal MIDI interpreter (almost all machines have one) and then record that sound in Audacity.

If you were planning on playing everything live, that may be hard to do.

Audacity can do a little editing of MIDI, but it’s very limited. Cut / Copy / Delete / Paste.
