Editing MOGG

Hello, i’m trying to edit music from “100% Orange Juice” game. The type is MOGG.

Here are some sample: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B--McYiRnd0jRzFhSzJibUo1cUk

After editing, i exported and replaced the music in the game folder.

There are several attempts:

  • I tried to export it into ordinary OGG, the music is mixed.
  • I tried to export it into multiple channels (more than 30). A complete silent.
  • I tried to export it with 2 channels, it only plays the first song.

There must be something to do with the “index”. Or maybe OGG skeleton.

Is there any way to export it properly?

I’m using Audacity 2.1.2 on Windows 7 64-bit.

Audacity does not export MOGG. I would ask on a gaming forum or specialist media forum like afterdawn or doom9. I would guess the best approach would be to export multiple OGG files (or even multiple WAV files) then use some tool that can repackage into a MOGG container.

I see. Thanks for the recommendation.
Actually, i’m still curious about the “index”. If Audacity can read/detect it, then Audacity has an ability add an index to a track/tune.
if it does, then please explain the step. Thanks.

All that dialogue does is to tell Audacity which of the streams in the MOGG file to import. Audacity does not do anything with the index information itself, because it does not export MOGG.
