So I’ve been rebassing some of my favorite tracks, but doing each one manually especially the longer songs ends up taking 30 minutes to over an hour just for a 3-minute track. That’s after separating vocals and bass too, so it’s very time-consuming.
Is there a faster way to shift specific bass frequencies? Like turning those 60Hz bass thumps into deeper 30Hz ones? I know it’s possible to analyze and edit it all manually, but that’s just way too much work for one song especially when I’m just doing it for fun, not getting paid or anything.
Example: Example Rebassed song
That’s from one of the well-known rebassers who drops like 3–5 tracks every few days. I get that it’s possible, but not really practical when you’re working a job every day and only got like 4 hours of free time in the evening.
Any tips or shortcuts would be very appreciated.
