Im using izotope ozone 5 on audacity
when i installed izotope ozone 5 i installed every single instance of it. something that looked like “x32” or “x64” and another one i think. 3/4 of them didnt work with audacity but one did.
It’s 2024. This thread is 5 years old. But it is the first hit when you google “audacity ozone”
to find out if the current Audacity version 3.5.1 will work with the current iZotope Ozone 11 plugins. And in my experience, the answer should be “yes”. I recently installed the Ozone plugins and when I launched Audacity, it began importing the plugins on startup and they show up at the end of the “Effect” menu. When I load an audio file and select all (CTRL-a), I can use any of the listed plugins, and they definitely have an effect on the audio. To have a nice graphics display, use the “Preview” button,
you cannot play the entire audio when a plugin is activated. You can change the preview playback length (see documentation). So I’d say: Audacity can use Ozone plugins in 2024 (even on Windows 10 LTSC 1809). Have fun
