I want to determine the bpm of a previously recorded mp3. How do I do that using the new 3.4 version

Hey there I don’t mean to not answer your question but have you used an app to find bpm? I use BPM Counter regularly on my cell. Simply play your song and tap the phone and it will tell you the BPM.

Perfect! That solves the problem. Use this app first to find the bpm, open Audacity and preset the tempo to the discovered value then adjust tempo for desired result. Export new tempo version as an MP3, done! Thanks
