Source tapes are long gone. I’d like to remove the high distortion at least and also the heavy bass. Overall I would describe the sound as muddy with distortion riding on top. Can anyone suggest any 1, 2, or 3 part solution with effects to making my recording more listenable? I am currently on 3.7.7 and would not like to upgrade just yet as my time window for using the music is closing. Thank you!
I used the EQ effect to reduce the bass -25 and settled on that. Still distortion riding on the high end but good enough. Thanks anyone who read
