I need to convert .flac files to .mp3. This used to work fine many years ago but now there are distortions on playback. If I open a file directly using “right-click, open with audacity” (Win10) it plays OK. But I can’t open a list of files. If I open Audacity first and then use “open file” or “import file” it plays with scratchy noises and volume wobbles. The files play perfectly well with Windows Mediaplayer.
