I’ve got several saved Graphic EQ User presets but can’t always remember which one I have selected. Can you please add the name of the preset in use the Graphics EQ slider page?
If you know the name of the preset that you want to use, why not just re-select it?
If you don’t know the name of the preset that you want to use, then I don’t see how displaying the name of the current preset will help.
I am just wanting to know which preset was selected and currently displayed in the GE. The only way to tell the different presets apart, once selected, is by recognizing the different level settings. I have multiple presets and can’t always remember which one was selected and often times I end up selecting the same one when I cycle through them. This would apply to my presets and factory settings as well.
We have a design for this and will implement it at some point. Unfortunately there’s a lot of things which need attention in Audacity, and this particular feature doesn’t have the highest priority.
