Deleting (parts of) clip name deletes whole clip

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a bug or if I am missing something in the interface.

I have a file with multiple clips (different voices for a full cast reading), and I want to rename them to just their role.

I usually double click on the clip name, highlight what I want to delete (as the name is part of the title), and hit delete.

When i do this now, instead of deleting the highlighted part of the clip name, the entire clip gets deleted. See screenshots.

I would expect that when the clip name is being edited, this should not interact with the clip itself. It does not happen every time, but I cannot figure out what logic it follows, or how to prevent this.

When you just double-click, you obviously do not select the title line. You need to select the title line, either by 3 x clicking or by placing the mouse pointer there and select the part of the title which you want to delete.

But that is exactly what I do. That is what Image #3 shows.
