Every time Audacity releases an update, I automatically download it. I encounter that I have the “old versions” of Audacity in my Files and want to know if there’s a way to get rid of them old updates without anything happening to my project. and keep in my computer the newest version of Audacity which is 3.7.1. I want to free up space in my computer storage.
The safest thing is just to delete them manually. You can always download old versions again if you need them.

And okay, thank you for your feedback. I’ll manually delete the old updates.
If you find that the version you use has bugs in it or you prefer features in an older version eg the way the Export process works now compared to before.
