hello everyone,
I use audacity to edit recordings for a podcast. Unfortunately, you can hear a lot of clicks. De-Clicker is a good tool and I am very grateful for it. However, I notice that it doesn’t work perfectly. Namely, for longer texts (30 - 40 minutes), when I use De-Clicker for the entire recording, it does not correct clicks. I help myself by correcting shorter parts of the footage, which is a pain. Can this be fixed, or rather, why does it happen?
Thank you

There are realtime declicker plugins which work in Audacity, but I don’t know of a free one.
There are free AI tools which are worth a try : Adobe Podcast Enhance, (they can sound computer generated though) .
Thank you, very usefull information.
Hello again, let me tell you how I solved my little problem. I tried Adobe and some other applications or tools, I found them to be very time-consuming and - expensive. Therefore, instead of using the de-clicker on the entire recording, I used it on about 5-10 minute parts. The result is excellent and relatively fast. Before, I was correcting individual parts while editing, so it was time-consuming, but now it’s almost like using an add-in for the whole recording.
Thanks for the help and tips.
