Regarding dark theme, is it possible to have everything dark? 30% of the app is still bright and it’s super noticable now that dark theme is on. Is it possible to completly turn the app every part into dark themed? Top, bottom and everything in between that has not been styled? Please if possible add it.
Some elements take their colour from the Desktop theme. Dark Audacity themes are likely to look best when you use a dark Desktop theme.

I use dark theme on windows, like forever. Here is windows settings all dark, because of the dark theme. I wish Audacity would be able to be 100% dark like this? Any chance you could show me how it looks on your system if you turn on dark theme for both the app and the OS?
ohh I am jeouls now as this is what I wish Audacity looked for me on windows 11 pro and I do have a dark theme enabled as main theme in the OS, it makes everything else beautifuly dark by default. I wish I knew what is wrong though on my side that Audacity still is not fully dark for me as for you.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to do in Windows due to technical reasons.
Even Microsoft is suffering from that, for example, if you open the properties window of a file, it’s light themed despite the system being dark themed:
How come some applications (an example would be Notepad++) can work around this successfully? Is it because they use different approaches to theming or is it tied to which language the application is build on all together? Perhaps I should ask Microsoft instead since it’s evidently not an Audacity thing… Oh well. I just wish there were one theme option that didn’t bug the living daylights out of me.
