Cursor locks in at one second only

Hi all Can anyone help? I have been using Audacity for years but today I hit a snag, when I set an in point in the time line the cursor will only go to positions on whole seconds in the timeline. Previously I could “Creep” the cursor to the right position using L and R keys, What have I done wrong Happily using Ver 2.4.41 (until today)
