Critical Nyquist files cannot be found[SOLVED]

I recorded a record successfully and I tried to save it and it worked but now i can’t get back on audacity to play it. I didn’t get the chance to export it. Every time I try to go back it says critical nyquist files could not be found. I found the files and tried downloading the program many more times but it does not work.

Try reading the installation instructions on http://audacityteam.org/download/mac , or read this topic which is on the front page of the Mac Forum: Installation: Do NOT run Audacity from the DMG!!! .
