HI people, every time I play my recording back it has a crackling sound and the actual recording of the music is completely distorted. I have tried everything, from changing the USB ports, changing between mono and stereo. Wasapi , changing recording levels, pretty much everything chat gbt said to try.
Nothing seems to work. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance
You said USB, Are you using an USB interphase? If not, that might be the solution, it worked for me; let me explain.
My PC is AMD B-550 chipset, which makes sound to be crackled under certain conditions, like when having a dedicated GPU, or when using an “XMP profile” in RAM clocking. The only way I found to sort that problem is by using an audio interphase, a Behringer UCA-222 in this case.
I had this same issue. I switched from Wasapi to MME and the problem disappeared. Did you try that?
