copying cds..

hi
I want to use audacity for copying non commercial cds…how can I do that with audacity??I TRIED TO DO THAT BUT IT SEEMS TO BE COMPLICATED…

It does, yes. There is no “copy CD” unless you have a stand-alone player which can do that. The process is to “rip” the show from the original CD and burn it onto a new blank CD. Two separate steps. Audacity won’t do any of those things. Audacity can edit and change the show between the two steps, but it won’t rip or burn.

I use [u]EAC[/u] for ripping (creating WAV files from an audio CD) and I use [u]ImgBurn[/u] for burning.

But, Windows Media Player or iTunes can probably handle both tasks.
