Converting whole albums from WMA

I have around 300 CDs which I ripped to Windows long, long ago. I don’t own a Windows machine but they are now on my Mac.

They’re WMA. I’d like to make them usable on iTunes and Google Play. I know I can convert the WMA files to WAV or AAC one at a time, but I’m mostly concerned with keeping all the metadata. Do I have to write an Audacity script to do this?

Audacity has Macros for batch processing.

(BTW i’d convert to WAV rather than AAC, as the latter employs lossy-compression).

IMO Audacity is not good with metadata, you may need a separate program to manage that,
