Converting Time-Interleaved audio to normal Interleaved Stereo

I have a mono audio file that is the left audio for some time, then the right audio for the same amount of time, then back to left, repeatedly. I want to split this into normal Interleaved Stereo audio. Is there any way I can automatically separate the left and right audio into the correct tracks, or would I have to do it by hand?

May be possible using Audacity’s Nyquist prompt …

This isn’t interleaved as every other sample, it is more like every other second, here’s a clip from the audio I have so that you know what I’m trying to say:
