Converting stereo to mono and deleting one track

Hi all. I am building a digital jukebox. The software uses my MP3 music tracks (over 11,000 of them and also uses a small collection of wav files for jukebox sound effects. The sofware channels both file types to the same stereo sound output. As I don’t mind the music being in mono (I’m replicating an early 1960’s jukebox), I would like to be able to convert all files to mono, then use one channel for sound effects and the other for music. The idea is to use two mono amplifiers and two very different speaker systems so that the effects can come from within the jukebox cabinet, making it more authentic. I guess what I need help on is to put macros together to do these things. Any help would be greatfully received.

I’m interested to know what this software is. Care to share?

The software is DWJukebox. I have been using it for years and have built three jukeboxes around it.

Thank you. I will read up on it now. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
