convert mp3 to wav

Hello,

I would like to convert a mp3 to wav and recreate the high frequencies so that it’s difficult to tell if the final wav file is a true wav or not.
Could anyone give me some hints to do this? I really need to a trick to hide the fact that my WAV come from a mp3 :slight_smile:

MP3 (and other format) compression damage is permanent and in extreme cases, fatal. MP3 (AAC, MP4) should never be used in production for exactly this reason.

Would you mind saying “why” you need to do this? There may be some alternative approach to the task, but at the moment it is not clear what you’re really wanting to achieve.
