Conection of Genos keyboard to Audacity

Using Audacity 3.7.1 I am trying to record my Genos but all connections are as advised but nothing is recording I am still using Windows 7 could this be the cause?

And how is that? How is it connected?

Audacity can record (digitize) the ANALOG audio IF you have a computer with a regular soundcard with a line input (blue) or if you have a USB audio interface with line inputs.

The microphone input on a laptop (or soundcard) is “wrong” for line-level or headphone-level signals.

Audacity is not a MIDI application and it cannot capture/record MIDI messages. (I has some VERY limited MIDI functions.)

Or, if you are running a MIDI application and you are getting the sound out of your computer speakers, you can Use WASAPI loopback to record the sound coming OUT of your soundcard.

…From what I could find, the USB connection on your keyboard is MIDI only… No regular digital audio.
