Hello. I have Audacity 3.7.7 and working on a Windows pc. When I try to click and drag to edit, it just does not work at all. I verified that the selection tool is highlighted. Please help!
Thank you for the response. I did make that change and it is still not working. I will try uninstalling app to see if that works.
If you uninstall, you delete the program and won’t be able to do anything… 
Uninstalling and re-installing will not delete the program’s settings. These are stored in a folder in %appdata%/Roaming
You are correct. That did nothing. However, I just figured it out. I had to uncheck the box for “snap” which is on the bottom next to “Time Signature”. I have no idea what that is, but it started working after I did that! Thank you.
