change the language of the interface [SOLVED]

Hello

I have just downloaded audacity to use with camtasia. I used the English option as the langauge when downloading and it all worked well. However on the audacity interface everything is written in French.How do I get the interface in English?

I have windows 7 and Audacity latest version as of today/

Please oculd anyone give me a hand!

Ps I am not a PC techhie .

The language choice in the installer is only for the installer. Audacity is in French because Windows Region format is set to French.

To correct it, please follow the steps in this Frequently Asked Question: Audacity Manual .
