I have an old CD with Haydn Symphonies 93-98 that I extracted with EAC. Always wondered why high tones are so exaggerated till I found out hat some old CD have a pre-emphasis which was not shown in EAC.
Now I found out that Audacity has for venyl the RIA de-emphasing curve as default. Would be great if the attached CD de-emphasis curve could be included. So far I helped myself with a manual de-emphasis of the graphic equalizer.
Thank you for quick help Trebor! The filter curve is perfect. I already applied it an now the sound is well balanced.
