Capturing Music on the vocals are audible not the music

I am attempting to capture a music cassette but when i press record and playback all i can hear is the vocals not the music behind the vocals.

When I play the cassette through my stereo speakers it sounds perfect.

I’m assuming its a setting but i have tried everything, its like the music is getting filtered out

“audio enhancements” designed for speech can do that.

BTW there can be more than one layer of enhancements, e.g. RealTek, MaxxAudio, DTS, Dolby, etc.
