I have watched a million videos for a whole bunch of different softwares, and nothing works. I am trying to remove the vocals from two different songs and both of them with the standard split to mono and invert just does not do anything. Brat Pack by the rocket summer, and King by Lauren Aquilina. if anyone has suggestions of things to try it would be greatly appreciated…there has to be a way to make this work.

Lauren’s music is heavily produced with stereo echo. Stereo Echo/Reverb will not cancel using normal vocal removal (attach). The voice goes away, but not the echo.

Audacity > Effect > Vocal Removal. I think Audacity 2.1.2 has a slightly different one with a similar name. That’s how I got that clip. If you downloaded the song Mono instead of Stereo, you’re right. The tools don’t do anything.
