Can't download old Audacity versions

I’m trying to download an old version of Audacity from FossHub (where the team says the old versions are supposed to be), but their links just redirect me to the Audacity home page, where absolutely none of the old versions are.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is this an oversight that needs to be fixed?

this link still works for me: Old Audacity versions download

Alternatively, old releases also can be found here: Releases · audacity/audacity · GitHub

Weird, for me, every download link on that page seems to link to https://www.audacityteam.org/ - see bottom left corner of the screenshot:

Indeed, that’s what I see as well.

Going to the wayback machine is no help.

Ditto …

I decided to just resort to Github to download an old version. While it worked, this still really needs to be fixed.

“Fun” fact: Fosshub’s contact form is broken: Fosshub | Contact.

I wrote a message to FossHub_com (u/FossHub_com) - Reddit.

Perhaps someone would like to try their luck via Twitter: FossHub (@Foss_Hub) / X.

FossHub has been dead for more than a year now. When I tried to upload 3.7.5 back on May ‘25, the partners’ login was disabled, and I never received a reply from them.

btw, I have almost all 2.0.0+ versions backed up. If someone could suggest a better place to distribute them, let me know.
