Hello,
I am using a Mac with Mojave OS and I have the latest version of Audacity (2.4.1).
I have downloaded the Gsnap 32bit file but I can’t seem to add it to the plugins for Audacity.
I have tried copying and pasting the GSnap.dll file via the following methods:
HARDRIVE/LIBRARY/AUDIO/PLUGINS/VST
And then closing Audacity and reopening it but when I select add/remove plugins under GENERATE or EFFECT or ANALYSE or TOOLS, I cannot see the Gsnap file as an option to add/enable.
Does anyone know how I can add the gsnap plugin to my audacity? I really want to autotune my singing tracks
Thank you!
I am trying to install the GSnap plugin, downloaded from from https://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm .
I have unpacked the ZIP file, and copied the GSnap.vst file into the ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST folder
I restarted Audacity, and clicked on the menu item Effect>Add / Remove Plug-ins, which brought up a dialog box “Manage Plug-ins”.
I chose the “New” radio box, and found GSnap, selected it, and clicked on “Enable”, then OK.
Up comes a dialog box saying:
“GSnap.vst” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
