Hello, I’ve been using Audacity for a few years as a musician, and the tempo feature that was introduced a while ago has been a massive help. This being said, sometimes the tempo of my clips does not match the tempo of the project, and when I change the project tempo to match it, the speeds of all my clips change, rendering them still innacurate. It’s possible for me to go in and manually fix all of them, but it’s a pain and not always feasible. It would greatly help me out if there was a simple toggle that would allow me to change the project tempo without altering all of the clip speeds. Thanks!
You can enable the Time Track feature in Audacity to adjust the speed independently without changing the pitch.
As a musician using Audacity, the recent tempo features have been a huge help. However, currently, when I change the project tempo to match a clip’s tempo, all clips in the project automatically adjust their speeds, which can lead to inaccuracies and extra manual correction.
