Can I recover an unsaved file?

I am using Windows 8 and Audacity version 2.0.3

I was recording audio for a very important video and I forgot to export the file. The next thing I did was go to edit and hit “undo record”. Then I continued recording another file. It wasn’t until after that I realized I forgot to export it. I have not closed Audacity since then and still have it opened. I was hoping since I left it opened there would be some type of way to recover this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Export what you have (unless it’s not valuable).

Edit > Redo Record…?

When you’re in the middle of production, UNDO and REDO are both available. (It says here) nothing is destroyed until you close Audacity.

Audacity Projects do not save UNDO.
