Hi,
is it possible to place markers in the audio wave, and store them as metadata in the file? So when I open on different software, I can deal with them? Or still this feature is not available in Audacity?
Thanks

You can create a Labels “track” with text in it and export that to a .SRT file. Most modern media players will display the text synchronized with the audio when they find a .SRT file with the same name in the same folder as the audio file. This includes the built-in HTML5 media player on a web page.
fwiw, I have added markers to Soundscaper, my “Audacity 4 on the web” tool, though it all is still very much a work-in-progress. You can enable markers in View > Show markers.
