I’m experiencing a bug in Audacity 3.7.5 when using an 8-channel input device with the Windows WASAPI driver (on Windows 11). Specifically, Audacity crashes as soon as I press the ‘Stop’ button after starting a recording. However, if I have ‘Audible Input Monitoring’ disabled (found under Edit > Preferences > Recording), the crash does not occur.
I would greatly appreciate it if this issue could be resolved in a future update. Until then, the box needs to stay unchecked for recordings.
