and a USB Blue Snowball Microphone.

Can I get a professional quality for a voice over for a DVD ?

THANKS A LOT.

Voiceover work usually has a good deal less to do with the part number of the microphone wire and the color of the preamplifier than it does recording in an echo-free, quiet room with a blast filter in front of the mic.

There’s nothing like sounding like you’re recording in a bathroom with a metrobus going by every five minutes.

Those are the worst problems. It’s possible you’re not going to be able to make sound level with the SnowBall. You have to load special drivers. This is an old complaint about the snowballs.

Scroll down. There’s a lot of good stuff in this thread.

Thanks a lot for the advice and the links.

I think I will go for a Samson CO1U USB Condenser Mic, after reading that several people are having issues with the Blue Snowball.
