I’m working with Audacity and wanted to ask about the best workflow for editing audio from Spotify. If I have an audio file that I’m legally allowed to use, should I convert it to MP3 before importing it into Audacity, or is WAV a better option for editing?
I’m mainly interested in maintaining good audio quality while trimming, normalizing, and making other basic edits. Any recommendations for the preferred format and workflow would be appreciated.
